When Yummy & Natural came to us, they had one simple goal: make people actually reach for a jar of pickled cucumbers — not because they’re hungry, but because it looks too good not to.
They weren’t asking for the loudest label or the trendiest font. They wanted something honest. Clean. Refreshing. Something that felt like like a bit old school, country-like, authentic.

Yummy & Natural started as a small family business that turned backyard harvests into jars of crunchy, all-natural goodness. No additives, no nasties, just cucumbers, dill, vinegar, and pride. And many other products.
As the brand grew, they needed packaging that reflected that same simplicity and care — but with the confidence to sit next to the “big players” on supermarket shelves. Our task? Keep the heart, add the polish, and make “pickled cucumbers” feel premium without losing their natural charm.
Let’s be honest: the pickle aisle is chaos. Loud greens, busier fonts, and a thousand versions of the same vegetable. Somewhere between “farm fresh” and “factory made,” authenticity gets lost.
We needed to:
- Help Yummy & Natural stand out without shouting.
- Design packaging that says “fresh” and “natural” and actually looks it.
- Create a flexible identity for future products (because once you pickle one thing, you can’t stop).
Balance a premium aesthetic with that “made with love” feeling.
We stripped everything back to what matters, freshness, transparency, and trust, and built a design system that celebrates exactly that.
- Less label, more cucumber. We kept generous clear spaces so the real star, those beautiful dill cucumbers, could shine through.
- Illustrated honesty. Delicate line drawings of dill sprigs wrap the label, connecting the product to its roots (literally).
- Natural palette. Soft cucumber green, off-white, and a hint of warm gold — clean, modern, but still earthy.
- Typography with taste. A confident serif for “Yummy & Natural” paired with a friendly sans for details. Simple, elegant, and legible from a distance (because good design shouldn’t need squinting).
- Signature seal. A subtle “Y&N Certified Fresh” emblem — the cherry (or should we say dill sprig?) on top.
The result? A brand that feels fresh, confident, and quietly proud of its simplicity.
Now, when Yummy & Natural sits on a shelf, it doesn’t need to compete — it belongs. The jars feel crisp, calm, and beautifully honest.
Retailers call it “premium simplicity.” Customers call it “pretty enough to keep the jar.” We call it a job well brined.
