Bilba Industries is an established Australian supplier of welding and industrial equipment, supporting professionals across construction, fabrication, and manufacturing nationwide. With a broad product range and a reputation for quality and reliability, Bilba operates as a recognised leader in its space, servicing a high-volume, high-intent market.

While the business itself was strong, its website wasn’t keeping pace. The existing site was built on an outdated Shopify theme that no longer reflected the scale or capability of the brand, and it wasn’t set up to support long-term organic growth or paid acquisition effectively.

Challenge

While the site existed, it wasn’t pulling its weight. Load speeds were slower than ideal, technical limitations from the old Shopify theme were quietly holding things back, and search engines weren’t fully picking up the depth of Bilba’s offering or why it mattered. Keyword coverage was limited, first-page rankings were inconsistent, and organic traffic had plateaued. In a high-intent industry, that meant missed enquiries and lost opportunities.

At the same time, paid search was underutilised. Without a strong website foundation or a clear organic strategy, PPC wasn’t performing to its potential, and opportunities to capture ready-to-buy traffic were being missed.

What We Did
The Solution

We started by pulling the site apart (nicely). Using the existing Shopify setup as a base, we rebuilt the website from the ground up, removing the constraints of the old theme and replacing it with a faster, more flexible build designed to scale. SEO wasn’t treated as a separate phase — it was baked into the rebuild itself, from site structure and templates through to technical foundations and content layout.

Once the new site was in place, we carried out a full technical and SEO audit, cleaning up errors, improving crawlability, and making meaningful gains in site speed and performance. Content was then sharpened to better match how real customers search, with strategic blog content added to support commercial pages and expand keyword reach.

Alongside organic growth, we also managed Bilba’s PPC activity, ensuring the brand was visible across both paid and organic search. This combined approach allowed Bilba to capture immediate demand while building long-term, sustainable visibility.

Results

Once the technical groundwork and content strategy came together, the results followed quickly and continued to build over time. The site became faster, more visible, and far more effective as a lead generation tool.
