A1 Mechanical is one of those local businesses that people come back to. Good work, straight answers, no drama. In the workshop, they were doing everything right. But online, not quite so much.

They were showing up on Google, but not always when it mattered, and not always consistently. Some weeks the phone was busy, others were quieter than they should’ve been. They knew there was more potential there, they just needed help unlocking it.
That’s where Shtudio came in.

Challenge

The issue wasn’t demand. People were searching. The problem was visibility and follow-through. A1 Mechanical’s Google Business Profile wasn’t working as hard as it could, keywords were scattered, and performance jumped around from month to month.

In an industry where customers are usually in a hurry and ready to call the first solid option they see, those inconsistencies meant missed opportunities.

What We Did
The Solution

We started by pulling the Google Business Profile apart properly. No assumptions, no shortcuts — just a clear look at what was helping, what was hurting, and what was being overlooked.

From there, we put a simple, consistent system in place. Monthly updates kept the profile active and relevant, keyword optimisation focused on how real people actually search, and everything was aligned to drive one main action: phone calls.

And we built them a simple landing page. Not a full website, at least for now. They just needed presence and a way of their customers reach out to them.

Results

Once the foundations were sorted, the growth followed — steady, reliable, and measurable:
Phone calls increased by 48% year-on-year
